Meet The Team
John Rafailov
DD, DT, F.C.A.D
John Rafailov is a highly experienced and skilled denturist with over 25 years in the dental industry. He is a member of the College of Denturists of Ontario and is committed to providing the highest quality of care to his patients. John graduated from Dental Technology in 1995 and from Denturism in 1998.
John is a recognized expert in implant dentures and full arch restoration. He has extensive knowledge in digital technologies, including 3D scanning and printing, which he uses to design and create dentures that are customized to the unique needs and preferences of each patient. His use of digital technologies also ensures precise fit and function for maximum comfort and durability.
John is also an Examiner for the Denturists College of Ontario and a past Complaint Assessment and Quality Assurance Assessor, which reflects his commitment to the highest standards of professionalism and patient care. He regularly attends continuing education courses to keep up-to-date with the latest advances in dental technology and techniques.
John’s patients appreciate his warm and caring demeanor, as well as his expertise and attention to detail. He takes pride in building long-lasting relationships with his patients and strives to create a comfortable and welcoming environment in his practice.
When he is not practicing Denturism, John enjoys spending time with his family and pursuing his interests in photography and traveling.
Mordey J. Shuhendler
DD, R.D.T., F.C.A.D
Mordey Shuhendler has been practicing as a denturist for over 40 years. He is both a licensed denturist as well as a Registered Dental Technologist. He is a member of the Denturist Association of Ontario, Association of Dental Technologists, College of Denturists of Ontario, College of Dental Technologists of Ontario and has received a fellowship with the Canadian Academy of Denturism.
Mordey is a former licensing examiner and has been called upon as an expert witness in cases involving denture patients. He has lectured across the country on various topics involving dentures as well as oral sleep apnea appliances.
He is a former president of the College of Denturists of Ontario and a member of several of its committees. Mordey has volunteered his services in Uganda and is the director for Northern Health Placement Services, for whom his team provides denture services in Nunavut and James Bay.
Betty Cong
DD
Betty Cong has been a licensed denturist since 2014. She is an active member of the College of Denturists and the Denturist Association of Ontario. Betty attends annual dental conferences in order to maintain her high level of professional knowledge and competency. Betty is able to converse in English and Chinese.
